Aggregates
We predominantly operate our primary and recycled aggregates delivery services within the home counties, but can easily facilitate deliveries further afield. Over the past 15 years we have hauled aggregate products for all of the UK’s major aggregate producers. As a result of this we have gained valuable experience in collecting from quarries, wharves and railheads and delivering to a range of locations including: concrete plants, asphalt plants, bagging plants, construction sites and builders merchants.
Salt
We distribute salt on a national basis for our associated company Santander Salt Ltd from their various UK bulk storage depots, bagging facilities and stock warehouses. In addition to this we also operate for various other UK based salt suppliers.
Waste Management
As a registered waste carrier, Lime Logistics, in conjunction with its associated companies Borough Green Sand Pits Ltd and Sheerness Recycling Ltd is able to offer a bespoke South East wide collection service of a range of waste products including:
- Inert soil and stones
- Concrete and brick
- Asphalt
- Utility trenching arisings
These associated companies own and operate 2 inert landfill sites and 5 recycling sites in Kent.
In addition we also offer a waste collection and disposal service for:
- Contaminated soils.
- Vegetation and green waste.
The Fleet
All vehicles are fitted with:
- Onboard weighing system to ensure the optimum legal load is always carried.
- Satellite tracking system to aid efficient route planning and also up to date delivery information for customers.
- Automated sheeting system to ensure the loads remain secure.
Grab Vehicles
Our 3 axle 6 wheeler vehicle fleet, fitted with a grab crane for self loading, are capable of carrying 12 tonnes. The grabs are ideal for long reach loading or offloading, picking up materials in confined spaces and delivering materials directly into required areas.
Rigid Vehicles
Our 4 axle 8 wheeler vehicles are capable of carrying up to 20 tonnes.
All vehicles are fitted with lightweight steel bodies which offer the versatility to carry any material.
Articulated vehicles
Our range of articulated vehicles is capable of carrying up to 30 tonnes.
All vehicles are fitted with lightweight aluminium bodies to ensure maximum carrying capacity.
